Every island will become a massive level, ready to explore without interruptions. As a result players can walk around the 8 different regions or islands freely. Bside Games will implement a streaming system to preload an undiscovered area in the background. Stamina recovers at a certain rate, and the mons need stamina to perform their ultimate.įurthermore, the early version of Chainmonsters had loading screens between the areas. The entire game world, all game characters and of course the battles can now be experience in 3D.īside Games is now adding new mechanics to the battles, including stamina (STA), ultimates, and special tactics based on the species of your mons.
The new shader technology means to add more depth to the game visually, giving Chainmonsters a more distinctive style. Better looking Chainmonsīside Games has licensed some shader technology to make their cartoony visuals pop even more. This Season Pass will be free to those who were active in the Alpha or acquired the Genesis bundle. They can also optionally purchase the premium Season Pass that enables all tiers.

Players can capture monsters, level them up, upgrade them and earn Season Pass rewards. The closed beta will allow players to participate in the game before Chainmonsters goes into open beta in 2022. Everybody who participated in the Alpha, Genesis sale, or has a FlowFest Adventure bundle, can join the closed beta. This means that NFT owners can always sell their access key on the public market, even though it will be useless once the beta ends. The key to access the Chainmonsters closed beta isn’t a code, but instead gamers will receive an NFT. Everybody who already had alpha access will get to play the beta as well. The team will now distribute beta keys in the weeks to go through challenges and social media giveaways. Bside Games will launch the closed beta for their online role playing game Chainmonsters at the beginning of December at the latest.
